I loved these gloves. I was able to use them for outdoor smoking. I was able to use them for pulling the grates out and was even able to comfortably use them for adding wood to my cold smoking attachment. Made it really easy to pull my smoked pork butt out with ease. I highly recommend these.

Tried these out last week smoking some brisket. They're great and I love the longer sleeve over the wrist. You can reach in and out with out worrying about burning your forearm. Heat resistance was fine. I moved a couple racks and the meat around and only felt warm not overly hot.

The gloves are exactly what I need for baking and grilling. They are good for handling hot stuff. They fit my small hands well and also the sleeves are pretty long to protect the wrist.

Awesome coverage and heat resistant; I use mainly with bread. note that the wrists are tight so if you have large forearms these could be a trial. Mine are small and these are snug.

So I bought these thinking it will be great for my normal bbq and oven use. It was mostly working fine since I didnt grab anything that hot with.. until today. I was seasoning my ccarbon steel pan and so the oven is at 500f. I grab the pan with my glove so I can put it on top of the stove. My hand started burning before I was able to put the carbon steel pan on top of the stove. Holding a 500f cast iron for roughly 5 seconds caused my hand to have a very slight little burn(its slightly sensitive when touching now). You would think a 1400f rated glove should be able to hold a 500f cast iron for 5-10s without getting burned.

These gloves are just over 3 months old. Not very good quality. I only use them in my oven. There is considerable heat transfer and the thumb has already blown out. Will not purchase again. And for you Amazon......I purchased these as an Amazon's Choice. You really should know the product before you endorse it.

These are really nice gloves! I use them more for indoor cooking in my oven then I do outdoors on the barbecue but these have come in really handy. They are very comfortable and allow me to remove items from the stove without burning my hands, I also like that it covers most of my forearm which is something that my old gloves did not do.

Have used these a couple times now and are my go-to on the smoker. Gloves are great. Good articulation and they fit my xl hands. I first smoked a brisket and gloves were great to pull it out and wrap the brisket and eventually slice it up. Second were some ribs. I went wet style super messy. Gloves had awesome heart protection and I threw them in the wash to clean them. Would but again and will be buying for my friends
