Hayden Automotive 3814 Ultra-Cool High Performance Fan

I drive a Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0L engine, and I noticed that its stock belt-driven fan wasn't really up to the job of keeping it cool, especially when I would drive on 4WD trails, since the engine temp would creep up a bit much, maybe to 220 or 230 degrees then. However, once I started using this fan instead, it kept the engine temp from ever going above 210 degrees, even on the trail! I know that at least a 2000 cfm fan is recommended for my vehicle, but this fan is close enough (1700 cfm at high power) and still kept the engine temp under control, so far. Another positive note is that this fan is thin enough (at 2.6 inches thick) to mount it in my Jeep's engine bay without having to take out the pulley for the original (belt-driven) fan, all I had to do was cut down on the bolts sticking out of that pulley, with a hack saw.

I wish it came with a fan speed control unit and a few extras. It blows hard. It would cool my 6cyl for sure.

quiet fan for the power! using it on food truck for a exhaust fan. two speed is great we are getting 1050cfm & 1400cfm 12v is way to go.

Found it to be as advertised so far.
