I'm 56 years old and actually like it too
My 9 year old son loves back to the barnyard. We both watch it together. I'm 56 years old and actually like it too. The only thing they ever said that I don't want my son to repeat is"aw, milk me". Compared to a lot of cartoons on TV today like Sanjay and Craig, that's not too bad. We enjoy the characters and the storylines. With almost 50 episodes in season 2, I think it's well worth the price. I guess we'll also have to buy season 1 because I know my son will enjoy that and I think your children will too.

hilarious!
This show has very talented writers, artists and vocal actors. It is so funny...our whole family watches it! It really doesn't matter whether you're an adult or child, you will find it's humorous. Because the writing is quick witted and sharp, younger children may find it confusing and some parents may think it's inappropriate at times. The main character sounds like Ben Stiller and the very funny Wanda Sykes plays a disgruntled cow wonderfully! Despite it's comedic nature, it still has some important lessons for us all...like lying will only bring trouble, etc. It is based on the movie and quite frankly, it rocks! 5 stars

Awesomely hilarious!
Season two of Back at the Barnyard keeps the laughs going even quicker and harder than the first season. Barnyard is really good at making jokes that you would never see coming but make you laugh out loud. All of the humor is clean but even adults will laugh like crazy. The animals become cops, make Indiana Jones references, and even try to outsmart a leprechaun. Seriously, who thinks up gags like these? But they are brilliant! If you like off the wall comedy and hilarious pop references you'll love this show!

Sophisticated and Sharply Witty
I gave this 4 star rating to "Barnyard" because the very premis of this show makes me smile and its writing and character development doesn't dissapoint. It's always amusing to imagine that animals live a complicated, secret life, looking askance at human activities and reacting to,, even thwarting them. And the imagined situations that these particular creatures get themselves into are hilarious without being silly or childish. This is definitely adult mind candy, able to hold one's interest and leave you laughing for hours afterwards. It didn;t get all 5 stars only because, after all, it is a cartoon and surely high drama deserves to have that final star reserved for human acting talent..

Fun for kids and adults
The characters are off the hook funny. I don't know if I'd recommend it for kids older than 9-10, because they may start catching some of the mix of sarcasm, dark and borderline politically incorrect humor. But my 3 and 6-years old boys enjoy the music, the action and the corky jokes, while the deeper stuff goes over their head. It's one of the few that we can enjoy as a family. Give it a try.

Just for Laughs.
If you need a good laugh to make it through a hard day at work or school, then Back at the Barnyard is the right cartoon. Wanda Sykes will keep you in stitches as she and the other characters give you a cynically ironic approach to reality. In this animation series, animals act out their version of how to handle life's problems.

So much fun with a bunch of crazy animals
My son is 9 years old and LOVES this show. The humor is on several levels so that not only does he get a good laugh but so do his father and I. These are wacky animals who get into lots of trouble, but friendship always pulls them through at the end. We recommend it whole heartedly.
