Rhinocable's description omits to mention that it is actually aluminium cable (not copper) and thus not fully Cat 5e compliant & potentially dangerous if used with PoE.Aluminium is much more prone to breaking than copper anyway. To make matters worse, the conductor is especially thin (26 AWG rather than the usual 22-24 AWG).Not even convinced that it is the usual copper-coated aluminium (CCA). Looks suspiciously like plain uncoated aluminium!

Bought as an add on item alongside many other items, it was delivered quickly.It is obviously a basic and cheap cable when compared to the shielded and protected variety but the route I was laying this presented no such issue and this was being used for a temporary fix until I got some of my regular cabling.I would not entertain using this cabling either outside a building. I would have no confidence in it weather beating reliabilityI bought this for use with an internal CCTV system and this cable does the job as it should.This cable is NOT white. At best it could be called a grubby dirty white with a hint of grey.That aside, the cable was only 3 inches short of the stated 10 metres. It connected into the various equipment with a satisfying click. This is very cheap being many times less expensive than the cost you would incur in a typical high street shop.Very worthwhile for my temporary fix. What more could i ask for. 40m of Cat5e for about £8! i have ran tests and can confirm it is indeed Cat5e! A few people have commented to say the cable is thin, which is correct. However i would like to point out that just before the actual RJ45 connection there are 2 rather large like plastic support things, which would get in the way if you planned to route the cable through a small hole. Just bare this in mind.

Good cables. I bought three of these to connect gear to my home hub. Hard wired cables are always better than wireless so if you have static equipment it is worth thinking about. You get full duplex individual point to point connections that way. I've run these across the room in some 16 x 16 mm trunking that I got from Screwfix. Three of these and the somewhat thicker cable supplied by BT for their Youview box fills that trunking but it fits properly.Note that these cables are not "soft" and if you are going to use them loose they will be messy and will need to be contained in some way. Before fitting them in the trunking, I put them on the windowsill in the sun and this makes them flexible for a little bit, enough to get them in the trucking.If you have not used hardwired cables before, remember to label both ends if you have multiple ones or buy different colours.

As described, delivered v quickly. As I have slow download speeds and my WiFi is intermittent, I required this to download a game over 9 hours. Using this the download occurred overnight without any problems. Really glad I ordered it as it resolved a my problem and I can now play all of the game I was bought for Xmas.

Not much to say other than this is a thin cable which is what I wanted, which makes it nice and easy to trunk around household obstacles!20 meters at a great price, it’ll never beat the price of making your own cable but for home users like me at such a long length at such a low price it’s a bargain esp when you compare it to the monstrous prices you can pay on the high street as they attempt to convince you that you need shielding, gold and goodness knows what else!The connectors are ever so slightly cheaper plastic, but they’re not the nightmare type that I always struggle disconnecting.Very happy, bought a second one ☺️

I bought a 30m variant of this cable. It goes through the whole apartment from the living room to the work room. I am satisfied with the performance and based on other comments I expected less. I haven't noticed any issues with the product quality or network speed. I have a server from which I stream movies to my other computers in the house, and I didn't encounter any of the issues others mentioned in their comments.For me it was well worth the money.
