Delightful!
I enjoyed this movie. It isn't easy to make a good movie with an ensemble cast but the writer/director did it, giving enough information on each character (except for the youngest boy) to add to their part in the story. The murder plot takes you to the very end which a good "who done it" does, you don't know until the very end who did it and why. I did not mind Daniel Craig's southern gentleman accent, good or bad as it was. His character was essential to the story, was multi dimensional and smarter than he appeared. This is just delightful entertainment. It seemed they used some of the same props as another great "who done it", Sleuth and incorporating Sherlock Holme's words, "Watson game is afoot". The movie does NOT take itself seriously but entertainingly with each character entertaining the audience with their drama. If you enjoy murder mysteries but not goriness, this movie is for you and I recommend it.

A Great WhoDunnit, Clever by half
I get why it was hyped this movie the cast is great and seem to have great fun in their roles here & it's very cleverly put together. But watching reviews and heaing it mentioned in connection with 1985 movie clue. I was sxpecting an out and out comedy. It isn't though & is instead a cleverly worked whodunnit. Unfortunatley with this film, like The DiCapro movie Shutter Island, Christian Bale, movie, The Prestiege & Johnny Depp, Jack the Ripper movie, From Hell. They all had a suposed twist ending that I saw as soon as the plot was started & guessed the Murderer as soon as they started talking. But I was not 100% sure here if I was right or if I was going to be thrown by someone else, and unlike the previous films mentioned it didn't distract me from the movie & my attention was kept throughout

A very enjoyable film
We have watched it a couple of times now and it is great to see not only famous names in there but also Daniel Craig playing a completely different character.I would highly recommend it and that is why I bought the DVD so we can watch it to our hearts content!

Much better than the sequel
Bought this for my partner who loves 'who dunnits'. She thought it was great.Daniel Craig seems to relish his role (I think he's had enough of Bond). We subsequently watched the sequel (Glass Onion) but it wasn't as good.

Favourite mystery film in years
Knives Out is such good fun. A clever, stylish, funny and well made mystery that is watchable over and over again with a brilliant cast of actors. The more times I watch it, the more I appreciate things or I see I missed in previous viewings. Knives Out is made all the better and stands out from other movies due to the Thrombey family drama, which provides the laugh out loud moments and suspicion to be rife.Definitely recommend to my fellow amateur sleuths! Especially because Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig are set to make a sequel.

keeps you on your toes
This movie will definitely surprise you. It starts out as a very familiar Agatha Christie type mystery, but, along the way it changes and mutates into other staples of the same genre, and keeps surprising you at every turn. It's clearly a love letter to various classic whodunnit mysteries, with a sense of humor about itself. The Cast is a who's who of beloved movie and tv actors, but Ana de Armas is the absolute standout of this movie. If you're only familiar with her from Blade Runner 2049, she'll definitely surprise you in this. I really enjoyed this ride. Image and sound are crisp and clear, both the 4K and the Blu-ray disc look and sound amazing. There is a feature length documentary, 2 audio commentaries, deleted scenes and various other bits that round out the extensive extras package. Furthermore all the extras are present in the 4K disc, as well as the Blu-ray disc. You don't have to switch discs to watch the extra content. Really enjoyed this one.

Not my cup of coffee.
This is a very well made Who-dunit with professionals who are serious about their work. Everybody performs as well as can be expected and the movie looks good. The twists and turns are many and that is the one flaw of this film; it outsmarts itself. In the effort to confuse the viewer, the end result is that the most likely person to do it actually turns out to be the one who did it. The way there is entertaining enough, but this style of movie isn't for me.
