Emotional Rollercoaster of a journey
If you are thinking of watch the anime, do yourself a big favor, and just read the manga from start to finish, you'll thank yourself later. At first glance, this manga's plot seemed simple or even predictable but it grew to be pleasantly complex and unpredictable. I'd rate this an 4.5/5 but there's currently no way for me to do so while typing a review on the kindle app, so I'll just settle for a 5/5. This manga series is for those who like stories that make them think, plots that keep them guessing, and those that like manga genres that include survival, horror, and thrillers. Also the fights aren't won based solely on "will power" alone, they actually require strategic thinking and common sense, if you don't have the patience or the time for slow burning plots like this then this manga might not be for you. I definitely recommend this nanga.

One of the best stories ever told
So unfortunately the copy I received was damaged, but that will not stop me from giving this book, and it's series, 5 stars. From beginning to end it was a thrilling masterpiece, and a visual wonderland. Artist and writer worked in perfect unison to create one of the best stories of this generation. A level of perfection which I have not seen since Full Metal Alchemist. Many other readers who read the story online through fan translations warned me the ending would be a disappointment. I could not disagree more.I knew where the story was headed from the first volume, and knew that the end would be something like this. Maybe people are complaining for predictability? Well, I say, while the end may have been predictable, the story sandwiched between was not. It was the perfect ending for such a story, and was nothing short of a masterpiece.I am so happy to have patiently waited these 3 or so years to finish this story. A must read for anyone.

End Of An Unforgettable Journey
Leave it to The Promised Neverland to end with a bittersweet note. There is a lot of good lore and character development that happens in these last 9 chapters. As well as good amount of behind the scenes content that gives you a great look into how Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu created the series. When the Promised Neverland first started in weekly shonen jump, I was a bit afraid to read it. Horror is one genre that is typically to scary for myself to read. And yet despite the odds being against it, the Promised Neverland has turned into one of my favorite shonen series ever. So from the bottom of my heart I say thank you to everyone involved in sharing such an amazing story with me. If the creators decide to make a new story down the road, I'll definitely give it a read. Because at least myself, I have become a fan of their writing style. -MickManga

Farewell to the NEVERLAND
The story ends here folks. And begins all over again here as well. Final DS volume also came out today i am very fortunate to have read this series since Ch1 was first released in WSJ in August 2016. Other series such as "Red Sprite", "Hungry Mary" and "Love Rush" were axed but this series held on. Though it was 10 yrs too late for me i like how this series took place for someones entire High School years starting in Fall 2016 and ending just after May 2020.

Last volume. So sad.
Arrived in perfect condition. Sad the story is over....I'm more upset at the person below me for giving it one star because "the book is backwards" like they've never read a manga before. Brought the entire rating down for absolutely no reason. Someone is definitely trolling- hopefully that review will be removed.

Well, it's an ending
Some people may be happy with the ending, others no, but the story was a good distraction, I believe that was worth the money that I spent thru the collections of this series. The manga came in good condition.

A Bittersweet ending
I really wish I had read this at home because I felt like I was going to burst into tears, and I wish I could let it happen. This is such a bittersweet ending. I am both happy and immensely sad. It was a wonderful ending for a wonderful story. I am so glad I am not an anime only viewer and got to experience this wonderful story as it was meant to be. Cheers!

Good Series, Late Story Dips in Quality, Book Came In Good Shape
The manga (physical) came in perfect shape! The writing quality continues to flake and wane inconsistently near the end of the story. Both the characters and the narrative are ridiculously naive and idealistic in a way that’s dangerously unlinked from reality.I was also rolling my eyes at how blatantly the story was being padded to fit the volume. The last 2-3 chapters had a bittersweet twist that plucked out my heartstrings and fed them to me though. The series isn’t perfect. An arc or two after Goldy Pond the Author’s exhaustion and mounting pressure begins takes a toll on the story. I still highly recommend the series however. The characters are wonderful, art is gorgeous and jam-packed full of detail, the story and suspense had me on the edge of my seat to begin with! For all it’s flaws it still holds a place in my heart!
