The Clover hooks are the best hooks for a beginner and they will always be there for any project. They have a smooth glide for the yarn you use and never fail you. They are the best when it comes to the jumbo yarns as well. So for the money these are a great starter hook. I’m a pencil holder and even though I have a set of all the Clover hooks, I reach out for the Tulip (more expensive and they don’t make the larger hooks, which saddens me).

I made my first project ever using this hook and baby Bernat yarn. This hook was absolutely perfect. It was easy to grip, it’s great quality, and maneuvered so well through the yarn. Highly recommend!

It's much easier to hold than most, I sometimes get sore hands from the ones with skinnies handles, so this was a nicer option. I have so far made 30 small witches for an upcoming event with it, as well as 10 of 30 wigs, and 30 dresses and witch hats. It's showing no signs of wear, and feels very sturdy. I am quite happy with it :)
