Hi,I'm a plumber.I always check my client's TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) as it has been increasing like crazy around our area.I have two other meters. In this case, one says 257, the second one says 254 this one says 152.Errors like these can make me mislead my client telling them everything is ok while are actually having hard water.I always check the water with two different meters, and they are all close in results, except this one that is way off.As a piece of advice, always have two different brand meters and compare, never trust the results of just one.

I was shocked that this tester detected how bad my tap water is. Also some of the bottled water I've been trusting didn't pass my test. I'm glad I got this excellent product. I bought a 2nd one for my backpack. Thanks.

Works great and I got my dad to buy one a few days later. It’s great for testing your water pitcher filter when new and again when the light comes on. Also is great for checking water in general. This is my 2nd one.

Does exactly what I need it to do for a great price! Mine seemed to be calibrated right out of the box so I can't comment on exactly how accurate these readings are. My hydro plants are doing great using this meter so for the price no complaints here.

Cool color, works well, does what I need it to. I use this for my carnivorous plants and tropicals. Good idea to keep an eye on the state of the water quality.

Well it certainly seems to work...I measured my house water last night to see if the filtration systems work :1. The kitchen sink measured 1532. the undersink RO systems 153. the mineral water filter 334. rear bathroom sink 665. rear shower with new shower filter on it 66Sooo my assessment is the TDS monitor works...it got different reading from each and each time the readings stayed consistent. the undersink RO works GREAT !....the house water is NOT dangerous butttttt.....the water n the rear of the house is safer to drink than the kitchen and finally the shower filter I brought here from Amazon is a gimmick and sham.....

I used it to check the efficiency of my reverse osmosis system. It seems to display accurate. I don't have another meter to compare to. I do think the color scale needs to be adjust some.
