Used the lights indoors in a dressing area. They give off a warm light. Bulbs get warm, not hot. Perfect for my needs. TIP: Before hanging cord, remove all bulbs to avoid breakage. They aren't too delicate, but if they crash into something they will break. Fortunately, I had some replacemens on hand.

Great light for an even better price! We hung those on our condos patio and get so many compliments on them! They come with 2 extra bulbs in case any burn out, but what's nice is if more than two burn out, you can buy another set for cheap.Light up our 10 x 10 patio perfectly. And so far have held up to multiple Michigan storms and rain.Highly recommend! At this price buy two sets so if anything happens to one your back in business!

Plugged it in once, was lit for about 30 seconds, and then went out irreversibly right then. Very disappointing, especially considering that this is not super cheap

Was ecstatic to of received these! They arrived in a secured box, with the aesthetic we were looking for. It's unfortunate how when I plugged them in 3 of the bulbs were giving way to a bright light while the others had a soft glow. Although unhappy with the flaw we decided to string them up just to see if maybe the bulbs would revert to their normal colour after being plugged in. They looked great hanging from above, but not a few moments later did 2 (of the bright lit ones) explode rocking the entire string and causing it to come smashing onto the ground! The whole thing gave everyone present a near heart attack as we tried to avoid the glass under our bare feet. Pretty horrible, to say the least, as we really wish it had worked out …

Live in DC and lights didn't survive the mild winter conditions we have here. Bulbs burst in the cold. Was hoping I could string these and leave them for a few years. Also didn't like that they didn't come with any spare bulbs and the bulbs aren't durable - a soft drop and they're toast. Not for outdoor use.

Do not buy these bulbs. They're extremely fragile and do not hold up to any outdoor conditions. I would assume for being outdoor bulbs they would be able to stand up to hitting against a surface or two during installation but these are so absurdly fragile that even the most gentle impact shatters them. Bought four strings but could only hang three strings because keep replacing shattered bulbs.

The filaments on this were very fragile. Even though every bulb worked when I plugged them in the first time, two were burnt out by the time I finished hanging them up! I came back outside later, and another two were out! It's a shame, they're so pretty.

Was excited to put up my new lights! Before we finished they went out and do not work! 1 bulb was sent but no fuses!! My money wasted!!
