Works really good so far.Tip: The piece that keeps the cap on just has to be pushed into the hole rather strongly to get it to hold. It may seem like it is too small, but just has to be pushed into place.

Of course it was easy to install only thing was the strap that keeps the cap so you don't lose it, the hole was too big so I just used a little black silicone it's been quite a few months now already, works fine.

It seals better than the old one, but still getting loose gas cap light.
It seals better than the old one. The last one stopped sealing. This one sealed for about two tanks of gas. I think it is the filler neck, but you can see where the seal is making less contact on one side.

This cap was very easily to install and fits my Chevy Cobalt perfectly.

Less than a year
The piece that holds the tether to the vehicle broke in less than a year, and now in less than a year, the cap is leaking. Seemed like a good buy at the time, but not now.

Fit
I bought it because I needed a replacement, per my mechanic. His machine gave the code for it. It said it fits my car. I didn't put it on right away because the one I had was working but was going to have to be replaced if my check engine light came back on. It did come back on about a month later, so I went ahead and put the new one on. It lasted about 2 weeks and my check engine light came on again. I took it back to my mechanic and it gave the same code. The cap does not fit as it should. I had to order another one factory direct so I knew it was the right one and would fit as it says. Product is a waste of money! Very disappointed and upset!
