Product description DVD Review After their car breaks down during a storm, straitlaced couple Brad and Janet (Ryan McCartan and Victoria Justice) find themselves at the eerie castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Primetime Emmy nominee Laverne Cox*). The innocent duo’s mind-bending adventure escalates when their host, a sexually ambiguous mad scientist, unveils a stunning creation — a buff bodybuilder designed for her pleasure. The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again includes show-stopping performances by Adam Lambert, Reeve Carney, Annaleigh Ashford, Christina Milian, Staz Nair, Ivy Levan, Ben Vereen and a special appearance by Tim Curry. IT WAS A NIGHT OUT THEY WERE GOING TO REMEMBER FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

Exactly what I wanted, and more.
Got this movie because it was taken off Hulu. Was pleasantly surprised to see that this copy has the bonus song "once in a while" as it's my favorite in the soundtrack despite it not actually being in the version I first watched. Was a little disappointed originally because of where the song was placed, but after the fourth time watching , it finally hit me how it fits where it is. I think that, like me, most veiwers assumed Brad was singing about Janet's betrayal, however I think he was actually talking about himself. When he's talking about her he's thinking not of her disregard for their relationship but of his betrayal, this makes much more sense given there is no evidence to say Brad learned about Janet's betrayal at that time.

I have been a Ricky fan for years. Starting back in college and being part of a cast for 7 years. I love the new version of the movie. Knowing Rocky Horror is performed repeatedly by different casts and I was one of them, I was interested in seeing what the Fox version brought to the table. To begin with, the opening number Science Fiction Double Feature was perfect. The show's Riff Raff was a tad lacking, but the rest of cast, especially Janet and Franknfurter were amazing and really seem to be enjoying themselves. This version is different from the original, but I highly recommend it for any fan.

Quite Simply, I Really Liked It.
Ok. Let’s get beyond all the bs and negativity regarding this remake of Rocky Horror.I saw the original 1975 version with Tim Curry and it’s fantastic.I saw the Tribute Show and it’s also fantastic.I just finished watching the Remake, Let’s Do The Time Warp Again, and here’s my opinion:Fanatical fans of the original, get over it! Once you get past the fact that Dr. Frank-N-Furter is played by a transgender instead of an actual transvestite you will quickly enough enjoy this version. It’s altogether lively and fun. Yes, Rocky Horror is a cult classic but it’s not a religion so we can have some fun with it. And this is really good fun. Just go ahead and enjoy it for what it is…a really good movie.Just my opinion…… Elis.

Not the 1975 RHPS, but still enjoyable
I understand why hardcore fans of the original RHPS with Tim Curry et al may not like this film, however, I enjoyed it for what it is, which is a somewhat Disney-fied version of Rocky Horror. Laverne Cox is wonderful, as are most of the major actors in the film (although I have qualms with Victoria Justice, Christina Milian, and Staz Nair). The upgraded music is good and the homages to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Tim Curry, and RHPS audiences are enjoyable. Wardrobe has an 80s feel to it, which somewhat reflects the Disney-fied aspect of the film. Hardcore fans will most likely take issue with the de-queering of the original script through the casting of a transwoman to play Frank-N-Furter. Ironically, having Laverne Cox play Frank-N-Furter (although I think she does a good job with the role) ends up making the film feel less transgressive than the original movie. But I thought it was fun and I will watch it again in the future.

Almost as good as the original
It's not Tim Curry, so there is that. But the singing and acting are far superior. Tremendous fun overall even though some of the changes (where's Riffraf?) made me want to pull out my copy of the original movie.

It wasn't too bad.I still like the original one better. It had a lot of of good actors in it. I just didn't like the Alien part.

Wonderful remake with fun cast
I loved how much this remake followed the original!! I already loved Laverne Cox from Orange is the New Black and Reeve Carney from Penny Dreadful so seeing them in these roles absolutely made my day!! I'm so glad this remake wasn't horribly done and that it surpassed my expectations and kept much of the original while putting twists of it's own.
