Never could put it down !!
This is the kind of book to curl up with on a rainy or snowy day. Much more depth of characters who by the end of the book I felt were friends. The story takes a young woman through two romances...explores life on Nantucket living in a large home left to her by her grandmother and her work as a librarian because of her love of books. This gal was nothing like you might picture a librarian!Just the right mix of romance, sex and the real life day to day between friends and the love the heroine feels for her career choice. I have been deliberately vague about the plot as I have often read reviews that gave away the whole story and took all of the joy of surprise away. I hope I have enticed you to read this wonderful book by one of my favorite authors.

Good Summer Read in the Lounge Chair
This is a typical Nancy Thayer book ... easy read that holds your attention. I always look forward to the next Thayer book. Only criticism is how many times does she have to tell us that the population grows from 16,000 to 60,000 in summer. She told us at least 3-4 times in this book.

A thoughtful yet delectable beach read.
This is the perfect beach book. I look forward to Nancy Thayer's novels every year as a rite of summer - get out the chaise long, the lemonade, the sunscreen and drift away into the lives of people who live in the gorgeous little New England island of Nantucket. Scene setting so real you can almost taste the clam chowder. While written breezily, the characters are finely drawn, and pull on the heartstrings. There are inherent truths here, about love and life which launch this book to another level above the usual summer page-turners. I particularly related to the the bookish and introspective Darcy who tries to navigate some tricky romantic turf. Get out the SPF 15. Sumer is here.

Not my favorite of her books
Darcy had a tough childhood and has finally settled into a house in Nantucket left to her by her grandmother. She has a job that she loves at the library and has moved on after a divorce from her narcissistic ex-husband. I loved the descriptions in the book of Nantucket, the beach and Darcy's backyard sounds like the perfect place to unwind. However I found Darcy to be a bit irritating as she appears to be too nosy as it relates to her neighbors. She is overly pushy in terms of her relationship with Nash, given she has only known him a few months. I usually love the books by Nancy Thayer and while enjoyable, it was not my favorite of her books.

Perfect summer reading
I love all of Ms. Thayers books. My first hobby is crocheting but when I have lunch at work or other non- crochet time I am nose deep into my Kindle.Loved this book. Was so happy to read Nash agreed to keep the old house. On to my next "Nancy" book!

Marvelous
This is such an fabulous read! All of the characters have emotional depth and are diverse, but yet connect in a highly realistic way. The book makes you feel that you are right there with them. I hated for the book to end for these characters became friends!Thank you, Nancy Thayer, you have done it again. Can't wait for another book!

Good beach read
If you're a fan of Nancy Thayer or Elin Hildebrand, then any book set on Nantucket is probably going to be as you expect. This one doesn't disappoint and is an engaging read for the beach. The disappointment for me lay with the two main male characters, for different reasons. Boyz was totally obnoxious and, more importantly, I was irritated by Nash a lot of the time who came across as an indecisive, rather lazy man emotionally. I wouldn't have chosen either of them! But a good beach read, recommended.
