LEMOMO Purple Thermal Blackout Curtains/52 x 95 Inch/Set of 2 Panels Room Darkening Curtains for Bedroom

so i got two colors: beige and green. the green blocks out more light than the beige does. im going to go out on a limb and say the lighter colors are not going to probably do what it says it does, but the green curtains makes everything so dark. for me, this is fine because i really didnt want 100% black out. the sun only hits two windows in my place from 1 - 3 and i just needed something to stop it from getting hot in my office for that time and i didnt want to just get plain sheer curtains. they are doing exactly what i need them to do, and i bought these because they were inexpensive and came with 2 panels instead of the same price for one.tldr; the darker color ones are going to give you more black out than the lighter color ones but it still works with filtering out bright light.

I absolutely love the fabric. It's a medium weight curtain almost a microfiber feel to them. They are great quality for a decent price. I love that they are machine washable! I got the cappuccino color for my living room. They are not the black out curtains with the white backing that ruins in the wash. But they do a great job blocking it the light. They hang nicely and we're simple to put up on any curtain rod. I will be buying more for other rooms!

I love these blackout curtains because they’re the same color on both sides! All the other blackout curtains I own are white on one side, but not these. I bought the light grey, and they are pretty opaque given how lightweight they are. They’re smooth to the touch and are exactly what I wanted. Would buy again!

These are very nice and look wonderful. There are differences though between these and the 100% version from the brand. My windows are all facing the full force of the sun during the day.I like to sleep in total dark and I hate having to run my AC. These curtains do make a big difference for me.PROS:-- These get the living room (with a larger window) almost but not quite as dark. Even in the bright midday sunlight, you can see that they do a good job in the living room.--These really do darken a room.-- To my surprise, they also really tamp down outside noise. I live at the front of the building and I love that I'm not hearing all the distant chatter and moving about.-- They look more lux than I expected for the price. There is nothing cheap-looking about these.-- The black ones don't accumulate dust. I was worried about that because we get a lot of dust.-- Out of about 6 brands I priced, these were the best for quality. Also, you get 2 panels for the price.-- Though these did have some wrinkles when I unpackaged them, those fell out after a couple of days when I used wrinkle-release spray. Do that after you hang them up and the wrinkles gradually fade.-- I have yet to turn on my AC this summer & usually, I have to as soon as we hit 80F.There are no real negatives but I want to point out something. The grommets are large and can let in a lot of light. I hung mine higher than I expected to work around this. You can see that the living room curtains sit a bit high off the floor. It doesn't look bad but just plan for this. I also threaded some fabric through the bedroom curtains to block the grommets.Comparing these "regular" blackouts to the 100 % blackout curtains (from the same brand), I prefer the 100% version for the extra cooling effect alone. These are (according to the seller when I asked) "85%-99% blackout". I think they are correct. Just pay attention when ordering because it's easy to get these instead of the 100% blackout version. (I do prefer the 100% ones for the extra cooling I get from them.)For cooling, these have been so nice. I can tell a difference with these in the living room. However, there is a HUGE cooling effect with the 100% blackout that I have in my bedroom. Between these and the floor fan, I have no need yet to turn on the AC and the outside temps here have been as high as 85F. The humidity is really high with the heat. These curtains - even the "regular" blackout ones have been a big help. But, again, I would suggest just getting the 100% blackout. They are worth every penny for what I save on my electricity.Keep in mind that it's going to depend on how much temperature protection you need. If you just need decent cooling (or heat retention), these are really good. If, like me, you are dealing with a lot of heat from the sun go with the 100% blackout from the brand.

I got it in the chocolate color. I like that dark brown, it is like chocolate color. Took the image during the day and have the doors of room and bathroom closed, can see that works. Not sure it is because of the dark color, but works. It is still a bit wrinkly, wonder if I will need to spray some anti-wrinkle product. Overall happy with it.

Perfect blackout curtains to hide from the sun. This is a 5 months review and it’s still perfect. My only regret is not buying a colored curtain (navy blue) other than black to make my room not so vampire-ie.

These are nice curtains; they look beautifully ful and are soft. The hang beautifully and are only room darkening. I prefer blackout curtains and thought these were supposed to be (they are NOT) but they are nice. I chose to purchase a second set in an effort to have more fabric hanging in an effort to darken the room a bit more. I suffer from migraines so room darkening are not ideal, they need to be blackout. I accidentally waited too long to open the packages and get them mounted, and therefore did not find out that they were not actually BLACKOUT curtains until it’s too late to return them for a refund.if they had been BLACKOUT, I would’ve given a 5-star review or even if the seller were to send me something to make them BLACKOUT. Oh well, I guess they will work for now.

Good price....I was looking for curtains that have the black backingTHESE DON'T. I would say these are 95 percent blackout bc they are fabric color backed. Texas sun is brutal and if you work nights you need blackout curtains these get the job done.

Honestly at first the price did seam quite steep, but after putting them on they were exactly what I'd seen advertised. Definitely worth the price of you can afford.Was thinking that the 52 inch one was too long, but then later realised that it helps to block out the sunlight at the bottomAnd if your wondering if the white glitter on the curtain is the sunlight it isn't, it's just the materials on the curtain itself, so the sunlight is only coming out the sides.

Used for bedroom.

I have only checked the fabric in these curtains and have not hung them as yet.
