Great for travel. Not a huge fan of straws or filters for home use. But, that's not this bottle's fault. I did not find the straw overly difficult to use. Easier than a milkshake. Might not be my choice bottle for the gym. But, I love it for traveling. Filters are expensive, though.

Super disappointed with this bottle. The top is super small so good luck getting ice into it. You HAVE to use the filter which makes the drinking flow super slow and it feels like you're sucking a thick milkshake out of a tiny straw. You could take the filter off and just use the straw but then you lose 3 inches of the capacity. That also means you are pretty much stuck buying the filters from them for the life of the bottle. I'm already filling it with filtered water from my fridge so having the option of using it without the filter would be nice. I'm gonna end up finding a straw that I can use and toss the filter.

I prefer water room temperature, so for me the lack of insulation on this bottle was fine. For people who like ice cold water, you will want to get the vacuum insulated version. But the tradeoff is that this version is lighter and has a great silicone boot build in. This helps with eliminating noise as well as keeps it in a cup holder a little more secure. It also comes with a nice carabiner style clip. Although I though the placement of the clip wasn't great, I would have preferred it on the back side and not the front.As far as filtering goes, this works extremely well. I have well water with a little sulfer in it and a lot of iron, and this filtering water bottle makes the water taste like nothing. No more faint eggy smell, and no more water tasting like pennies! You do need to suck a little harder through the straw to pull the water through the filter, but it isn't difficult. Just need a little time to get used to it and then you don't even realize you are doing it.This is on the higher end for price, but that is due to the filtering that is built into this. It does absolutely filter out everything giving you fresh, clean tasting water and it is a very attractive bottle.

First off I have to say the water this produces does taste great and the bottle is sleek and well designed. I like the carabiner that's built in and its minimalist look. When factoring in the cost to maintain it though ($16 per filter replacement every two months which is roughly $100 a year) I don't see the advantage over just filling up a regular water bottle with the filtered water from my kitchen fridge. If I had this for 10 years it would be a $1,000 water bottle. Also, you have to really slurp hard through the folding straw to draw out the water through the filter. Overall it is a clever and innovative idea but lowering the cost of the replacement filters would make it a much more enticing product.

The media could not be loaded. I got this bottle to take to work with me to filter the "city water" taste out of my drinking water.This bottle works great. It leaves no taste of chlorinated and treated city water.The bottle is all single wall metal. It has a nice silicone boot on it. The lid is plastic with a silicone sealing ring. It has a flip up straw. The filter assembly is all plastic.The bottle is shaped well and easy to carry. It's powder coated with a textured matte finish.The cartridge and straw assembly is very easy to remove for cleaning.I like this bottle and recommend it.
