Golden Gate F-2213 Vintage Acoustic Guitar Tuners - 6 Individual (3+3) - Nickel

I've used these tuners several times and have been happy every time. They are the perfect tuner for a budget Jr project.

I bought these tuners to bring new life to an old 60's Kay archtop and they have gone above and beyond my expectations. Overall build quality is impressive for what you pay. Tuners are a bit stiff, but hold tune well even with string bending and sitting up for months at a time. I did not use the bushings as the tuner shafts fit very snugly in place of the originals. Only issue I had is that 2 of the mounting screws were missing. I luckily found a couple that matched in my junk box. Also, the artwork on the packaging is very cool and is neat just to have them hanging up on display even if you don't use them.

They hold a tune pretty well. Especially compared to the actual vintage tuners. They look beautiful and are a great way to restore your grandpa's guitar, or add a vintage vibe to a newer one.

Good tuners on a vintage Kay banjo. Golden Gate stuff is good quality.

Great product and value can't beat them

Haven't used them for very long, but they look nice, seem better made than most cheapos, and most importantly are holding tune. Would recommend if you aren't willing to form over the 40-50 bucks for klusons.

Would have given it 5 stars, but the press fit plastic heads might come loose eventually. In this picture I added side bushings (does not come with the set).The gear ratios a good for this project. (Check the specs)The gears have no tension adjustments. but; neither do any other Kluson type tuners. Overall, a way better experience than the ones that came on this Chickenbacker retrofit.The Posts are 22mm which really helped on the sideways tuner posts for stringing. I'm happy to be able to tune and play this guitar now.

I purchased them to replace the cheap stock tunners on an epiphone special. They fit great and the quality is comparable to my stock gibson les paul tunners. I bought them for the vintage look and the look great on my tv yellow special and the performance is excellent for thus price range. It was the first time I tried golden gate tunners and it won't be the last!

Decent quality. Functions smooth. Nylon bushings like OEM tuners. The frame is cast metal as opposed to cheaper stamped units. More consistant in feel, function and quality.

So dont go and buy $10 tuners, mine just stripped right away but after I bought the Golden Gate and those ones are just so good, comparable to high end acoustic quality. Men this works good. Seeya
