Okatsune Loppers, Wood Handles (Lightweight w/Cushion Stoppers) No.220

These are beautifully made loppers. Very lightweight compared to what I was used to. The feel of the tool is a little different from that of the more common brands you find in the US, and at first I didn’t like it. When you cut a branch, the handles come together with an abruptness that took me by surprise (even with those “cushion stoppers” to buffer the cut). It hurt my arms until I learned how to use the loppers correctly. So there is a learning curve. But I am pleased with this tool.

This gardening tool reflects the conclusion that "one gets what you pay for". This is an excellent, but rather pricey, tool which far exceeds the capability of my trusty lopper it replaced. The ongoing problem is that the old tool face limbs it simply could not handled and required a saw. This tool cuts through much larger and tougher limbs.h

Sharp,light and a dream to use. Every serious gardener needs Okatsune tools. They are the finest, making my job so much easier. I so wished I found them 10 years ago. They are worth the price for what will be life long garden too.
