PASSIFLORA ALATA red fragrant granadilla 10 seeds

I read a lot of info about how P. Alata seeds could be a difficult/slow to germinate (could take a year or two) but I decided to order some seeds and give it a try anyway. When I received the seeds I soaked half in o.j. for a couple of days and then planted them. 3 of the 5 sprouted within a week. even if the rest don't sprout, I'm happy with my 3 seedlings

I received the seeds, not in a packet or with any planting instructions.The ten seeds were wrapped in a paper towel and stuffed into a smallmailing envelope. To add insult to injury, I had to pay $4+dollarsin "shipping fee's" when this seller simply slapped a .64 CENT stampon an envelope and dropped it in the regular mail.So far have only received one of the two orders I submitted at thesame time. I'll update this review when I receive the second.These were supposed to be a gift for my husband's Christmas stocking butit feels weird to put the crumpled papertowel with the seeds inside asa present.Bah humbug!**update - even with much nurturing, only one of the ten seedseventually sprouted and that humble little sprout died withina month of seeing the sun. So, 90% fail rate, 100% mortality of the one seed that actually germinated.

I planted 15 seeds in a pot and only 5 have come up, but it will be quite a while before they are ready to be transplanted to the garden. So it's really hard to give a fair review at this point, because I don't know how they will do once transplanted.

None of these seeds germinated. Very disappointed!!!

This is one of the most beautiful passofloras and the seeds are hard to find. Great source for rare seeds.

Don't expect to get what you ordered!!!!!!!!!!They did send passiflora seeds but they looked like regular edulis and NOT Alata.
