Can see sun through them
Update: Within 3 days, the shades ripped just by putting them up and down at night and in the morning. They also fell off the top of the window, even though I later reinforced with tape. I'm not sure what the other photos are from, as this lets lots of light through it.*Easy to install. They’ve only been installed for a day so I’m not sure how long they will last. They are paper thin, ripped up very easily. One little part ripped when I tried to put it up. These are not darkening, you can see right through them when the sun is shining. And the sun rise is on the other side of the house, not even where these shades are.

Good value. Does the job. Not for everyday open/close.
These do what they're meant to do....block the light coming through a window. They are easy to install...all you do is cut to desired width and press the double sided tape on the top onto the surface it's being mounted to. The better the width fit, the darker the room. These are paper. There is no 'mechanism' to open and close them. You need to fold and unfold them by hand each time you want to put them up or down. When 'open' (up) the paper is held up with clothes pinsThey close with gravity. Thoughh I'm doing so daily, I would suggest these are best for situations where you don't want/need to open and close daily.

Love!!!!
These were a life saver. I adopted an 85 pound pup who destroyed my custom window blinds. I needed something fast and cheap! A friend suggested these. Not only did I replace the broken blinds but I ordered more and put them in EVERY room. Very easy to cut and install. Very adhesive. I put these in during November 2018. It’s now may 2019 and they are still hanging! Now if he destroys these I’m ok with that. I’ll just easily buy more!

Love these shades for the money!
No, it will not stick! But I knew that before I bought it. We stuck it to the inside top of the window well, then we made tiny washers out of cardboard colored black and screwed through it and into the wood at the top of the frame. See picture one. From just a few inches away you can’t see them. See picture 2. We used four of these screw assemblies and that blind ain’t going anywhere! Room (which gets direct afternoon setting sun) is now nice and dark and cool. LOVE THESE SHADES FOR THE MONEY !!!!

Bad
These are terrible. It is made out of paper and it is easily put on but it fell after one day.I had previously purchased a similar item and it was not paper but a pull up made out of plastic like materials.I am just so disappointed at this flimsy paper shade. On top of that, when I first ordered it, it got shipped to California instead of my east coast address.Overall, a disappointing experience.

Great at blocking our sunlight.
These are great for the money for blocking out the sun. Very easy to install. Easy to cut to your appropriate width. Totally blocks light out. The issue I am having is they fell. The window frame was clean. My home is new. The adhesive on them doesn't hold. Mine were only up for about a month when they fell. I has to tape them up with packing tape.

Does exactly what it says.
Great product. Its on the fragile side in comparison to black out curtains or black out blinds because its made of a thick paper. But for the price it does the trick! Keeps my bedroom nice and cool and most importantly dark! Great for when I have crazy migraines.
