perfect for meals on the go!
I admittedly bought this because I liked the color. Was prepared for it to join the collection of other items I've bought that look way better than they work. This has definitely outperformed far beyond my expectations. I've actually used this for both hot and cold food. Frozen acai bowl, overnight oats/yogurt, cold soups. I've even just put milk in it, then tossed in the cereal when I was ready. I just place it in the fridge first for at least several hours or overnight to pre-chill it to help maintain temp longer. Same with hot foods - strongly recommend pre-heating by filling with hot water prior to filling with your food. And of course, getting your food as hot as possible helps too. Will stay hotter for much longer. I've had soup stay hot for 8 hours. The portion size is perfect, a nice little compartment for anything you want to top or mix in - bacon, nuts, pepitas...and a spoon that folds up and tucks into the lid so you always have a utensil to eat with! Unless of course you forget to put it back. Then it’s back to eyeballing those pencils and wondering if you could use them as makeshift chopsticks or searching for anything you could fold into a facsimile of a spoon, lol.

Nice for soup
I got this thermos mostly to take soup to work with me. It does the job. Doesn't seem to leak as long as you make sure to screw the lid on securely. (One time I had it slightly tilted so it did leak). The spoon is nice in a pinch, but I would still suggest bringing a spoon if you can and just relying on this one if you forget yours at home. It is small. That said, it is sturdy and metal. It clips back in the lid, but I think the more often you took it out, the more likely it would be to become loose and rattle around. It already seems a little loose and I have only used it a couple of times. The handle is nice, but small. You wouldn't be able to put it on your wrist and unless your hands are super tiny, you won't be able to fit all your fingers through either. Just one or two fingers will fit. So if you are attracted to the thermos because of the handle, keep that in mind. I did put something in there besides soup the other day--riced cauliflower and pesto sauce. It didn't fill up the whole thing, just 1/3 to 1/2 at most. It didn't keep it as hot as it should have. All in all, I like it enough to keep it and I would recommend it for soup if you are going to fill it up the whole way and eat the soup within a reasonable period of time. As long as this suits you, it should do fine. Oh, one last thing...the lid that holds the spoon is separable from the lid that screws in to keep the food warm. Even this part is a bit loose. It doesn't affect the functioning of the thermos itself, obviously, but it is a bit annoying. I guess you could always just leave it at home if you took your own spoon as I recommend.

Tears of Joy, Literally.
I initially bought this thermos so I could have hot food at work, but turned out to be put to much more important usw.I'm writing this from Dallas, Texas where we're currently experiencing the coldest weather we've had in nearly 40 years. I am 24 as of writing this. I have never in my life experienced snow or temperatureslike this. When I woke up Monday at 8AM we had no power. Power came back on at 10AM for two hours. It shut off at noon. The power did not come back on until 9:40PM. My house does not have gas, it is purely electric and there is no fire place. As soon as the power came on my roommates and I scrambled to make warm food. I put some fresh ramen noodles in the Fijoo thermos and hope they would stay warm. The power shut off again at 10:00PM. Only twenty minutes of heat. We decided to go to sleep. Power came on again around 3AM and then shut off after an hour.I woke up at 8AM today, power still off,, and went to go see if my Fijoo had kept my ramen even sort of warm despite being left out overnight in a house that stayed around 39 degrees Fahrenheit.I opened the thermos and it was still warm. It wasn't hot, the noodles were incredibly soggy but it was WARM. I literally cried as I ate them. This thermos is a lifesaver.

So convenient -- keeps it hot!
I bought this to save soup and it works well for that but I've found another use that I like just as much. I make a wonderful apple cider drink in the crock pot but storing the leftovers for another day has been challenging. My regular thermoses have small openings. I can pour the cider into this one without spilling any and if I want to wash up the crock pot and go upstairs, it will still be hot hours later when I want another cup.I like it so much that I'm going to buy one for each of my daughters for stocking stuffers next Christmas.
