SFM33336 3-Pack Natural Small Animal Sponge

Just like other reviews said, they are definitely small. We just got 4 baby crabs so they work fine and cost much less than others. Once our crab grow we won't be able to use these any longer but they work for now. Satisfied.

Great sponges! I cant speak for the hermit crabs but I can say that the sponges absorb water like they should! They are cute and just the right size for the hermit crabs water bowls. The sponges make the aquarium much more "at the beach" for the hermit crabs I rescued. It also adds more humidity/moisture to the air. I like the sponges bc it allows the hermit crabs to get water with out the need to accidentally drown in a bowl of water.

Much less expensive then chain stores and pet stores, the hermit crabs seem to like them. They are keeping my son's crabs going longer than any vacation pet he brought home yet. Good value.

I got 3 sponges and yes they are small but I have a small dish so that works out great. They are definitely big enough to get the job done, I have mine in a 10 gallon tank. I've learned that over time the sponges soften up and expand anyways. I had a small sponge before and after a few months it was much bigger from constantly being wet. They do start off stiff but that will change. I am happy with my purchase.

I ordered this product because it had the best reviews but I’m changing my mind completely. First off the package had a very strong odor to it, not like normal sponges. It smelt almost like chemicals. I was too scared to even put it into my take with my hermies. But second off, on top of that, there was a weird white substance on my sponges as well. I just can’t use them, I’m afraid that it will harm my crabs and I’m not risking it.

I needed new sponges and choose these, they shipped fast and the quality is nice but they are tiny!!!So beware of the size when ordering. I used all three as one sponge for my tank.

Exactly what we needed and a much better deal than we can get locally as there are no pet chains nearby that even cater to hermit crab care. These are perfect and the quality is what we know and love. Will definitely purchase again in the future.
