Looks and Works great, low emissions and lots of heat.
I am extremely happy with this fireplace. It looks great, and I can keep the house much cooler at night and then use this to warm it up in the morning. I bought an air quality monitor to check on CO and CO2 while it runs. It has never produced a measurable amount of CO (always zero), while a lit match is easily sensed by the monitor. I can run it for an hour before the CO2 gets to 1000, twice the ambient 430 ppm. It puts out a lot of heat, but the case does not get very warm. I'd recommend a ceiling fan in the room to distribute the hot air. Highly recommended, I can't imagine a nicer one for my needs and a good price.

Elegant indoor ventless fireplace, cranks out heat
We purchased this Procom ventless stove fireplace to replace our old propane wall mount unit in our bathroom (about 150 sq feet). Overall we're very happy with this fireplace - it's easy to use, produces a lot of heat, and looks great.A few notable items on the backend of the install- Ensure you or your installer read the manual completely prior to install and comply with all local ordinances and safety regulation- Assembly is very easy, where you simply attach the feet to the unit with the included screws, remove the front grate temporarily by removing the two mounting screws, install the replica logs, and replace the grate- The logs are very light - I was expecting them to be heavy ceramic (like a coffee mug), however they're much lighter. I nearly discarded one with the separate box they came in because I didn't see it wrapped and taped to the inside. All the logs arrived intact- The fuel hookup for the stove is parallel with the floor. This was a slight issue for me, as the unit I was replacing had a hookup that was perpendicular. For propane, the unit uses the standard 3/8" flare fitting- Ensure your installer uses flare fittings and either brass or black pipe (not galvanized) and both thread tape (should be yellow thread tape, not the standard white) and thread sealant to ensure a proper seal/no leaks- When first firing up the unit, the regulator knob on the front of the unit needs to be held down in the "pilot" setting for 30-60 seconds to purge the gas line of air- When using the unit, it's recommended to either have a vent fan running in the room or a dehumidifier, as depending on how long you run it, it will produce some moisture from the combustion of gasThe unit heats the space it's in within minutes and the automatic thermostat does its job and shuts off once the room reaches temperature. The unit seems well-built, and we haven't had to contact support. Should we do so in the future, I'll be sure to update this review.

USA Procom- WORST customer service EVER!
I initially was very excited about the purchase of this stove. It does a great job heating our cabin. However, the control valve does not appear to work correctly, so it doesn't regulate the temperature as it is supposed to. I have now spent HOURS on the phone with USA Procom. They initially kept telling me to get in touch with the Amazon seller. Well, Amazon was the authorized seller of this heater. I had to ask over and over what getting in touch with Amazon would do, if ultimately the warranty was through them. I had to repeat this question over and over, until finally the rep put me on (interminable) hold, and came back to tell me that all I needed was my proof of purchase from Amazon. So, after 2 calls over 45 minutes each (the first rep disconnected and never called me back), I download the order details and send them to Procom via the email address on their website. No response. I wait a few days and send it again. No response. I wait a few more days and send it again. No response. Finally today I called again. The rep I'm talking to could obviously care less. She tells me that they get to emails when they can. Apparently it's nobody's job to respond to emails. I'm on the phone with her for over 50 minutes, the first 24 of which are on hold. Then I send the email again (to a different address) She's gone for about 5 minutes. Then she comes back and tells me that they'll send me a new control valve, only if I remove the current (faulty?) one and send it to them first. WTF?? They want me to disable my partially working heater, that's under warranty, to send them back a faulty part before they'll send me a part?? I'm without words. I don't even know what to say. I'm 55 and this may truly be one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. So, I absolutely don't recommend that you deal with this company at all, or buy the stove and consider the warranty worthless.

Overall great heater/fireplace
ProCom really surprised me with this one. I was planning on using this little fireplace as a supplemental heat source, but have been using it instead as our primary, bypassing using our oil furnace altogether. It's currently 35 degrees outside and this fireplace, mounted in the center room downstairs, is keeping the temperature at a steady 68-70 degrees. It is currently set at the #2 setting; we haven't used it above that setting yet.Keep in mind this is only a 25,000btu fireplace and our house isn't massive. In a larger house I'd expect different results. With this fireplace burning and a ceiling fan on low for circulation, this ProCom unit is a great choice for anyone looking for supplemental heat, or even primary heating in smaller areas. Installation was simple, it looks good, works well. It has also been quite fuel efficient.I'm hoping ProCom has a higher BTU output series of fireplaces. I'd like to give them my business again and get something in the 50,000btu range to truly ensure a warm house on even the coldest of Pennsylvania winter days. I'm already planning to add another of this same unit to my workshop.
