Great Product! Easy to open your rear seat that you could not do without this
I’m extremely impressed with this product! Before installing it, the area behind my rear seat was completely inaccessible and basically wasted space. Now, thanks to this clever upgrade, I can easily open the rear seat and make full use of that hidden storage area. It’s perfect for keeping tools, gear, emergency supplies, or anything else you want out of sight but still within reach. The installation process was a breeze. The included instructions were clear, detailed, and easy to follow—even if you're not mechanically inclined. I had it installed in no time with basic tools, and it worked flawlessly right from the start. The build quality of the product feels solid and well-designed, and it fits perfectly without any modifications. It looks like it could’ve come straight from the factory. I also appreciate how it doesn’t rattle or loosen over time, even with regular use.If you own a truck and want to take full advantage of every bit of space, this is a must-have upgrade. It’s simple, affordable, and makes a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to maximize the utility of their vehicle!Practical & Clear:Must-Have Upgrade for Unlocking Rear Seat StorageTransforms Wasted Space Into Usable StorageEasy Installation – Makes Rear Seat Storage AccessibleEnthusiastic & Impactful:Game-Changer for Rear Seat Access!Hidden Storage Unlocked – Totally Worth It!Brilliant Addition – Like It Came From the FactoryShort & Catchy:Hidden Space, Now Useful!Simple Fix, Big BenefitWhy Didn’t I Buy This Sooner?

A must-have product
It's ridiculous that Ford doesn't just give you a latch release already installed on the drivers side rear seat. With that rant out of the way, I installed one of these on a 2019 F150 and again on a 2023 F150. Pretty much a must-have because there's a decent bit of storage space behind the seat - I keep a tarp and some rope there, and a few other items of that nature. I highly recommend BuiltRight's installation video, especially the tips they give on how to get the seat to latch again once the product is installed. Installation is very easy (once you figure out how to get the seat back to fold down) but getting it to latch back up is a pain. Overall a nice product however, it seems like they've changed the strap material since the first time I installed one 5 years ago. On my 2019 F150, the strap loop was stiff enough to stay above the seat back (and thus within easy reach) on its own. This latest version feels thinner - it falls behind the seat and I have to reach back there and dig it out. Not sure what's going on, maybe BuiltRight can address this in the future.

Ford should be ashamed
This is a no-brainer. Expensive for what little it is, but I think it's worth it to avoid the hassle. Ford should have included this in the build. Dead simple install, takes less than 10 minutes, even for a 70 year old. The bonus was finding my jack that I didn't know was back there. Ok ok, it might be in the manual somewhere that's where they put the jack, but who reads those silly things anyways? The area behind the seat back is not just for storage, but I thought of it as a little hiding spot, might be good for a purse should the wife want to leave it behind. How many crooks will think to look back there? O heck, they'll just take the whole truck, well, there goes that idea. Knowing what I know now, I'd buy it again.

This is an impressive little innovation for my 2025 F150 SuperCrew.
This is an impressive little innovation for my 2025 F150 SuperCrew. I was surprised to discover that only one side of the back seat folded down, likely due to electrical components behind the driver’s side rear seat in some trims. Since my XLT doesn’t have the subwoofer, I had unused space to work with. After researching online, I found this product and was drawn to the company’s commitment to quality and its “Made in the USA” label. Installation was initially tricky, but the company’s helpful installation video answered all my questions. Now, the driver’s side rear seat folds down seamlessly, allowing me to store my tools behind it. I’m thrilled with this purchase—it functions so smoothly, it feels like a factory feature designed by Ford itself.

Super useful with a quick and easy install
Can I get to the latch behind the seat without this? Yes but you are essentially sticking your hand into the abyss fiddling around trying to find a small latch. Does this make it so much easier? 100%. It’s a super quick easy install maybe 5 minutes and if you want to remove it there’s no permanent modification you had to do to install just remove the bolts again take it off and bolt your latch down and done deal. Holes line up perfectly for the bolts and you don’t even notice it’s there build quality of materials feels good. The plate size fits perfectly on the factory latch. I’m interested in trying out their molle panels now that I’ve seen the fit of this. The dash molle and passenger seat look pretty useful

Just built right. Now pun intended
Should have came factory with the ability to release both rear seats. Get (2) if you have a 12th gen Screw (09-14 F150/Raptor). Fits both sides of the rear seats.Raise seat bottom to allow more space when trying to release the upper pin. Use a closed end wrench to grab the pin and pull straight up. May take a few tries and head scratches but you'll get there.Slight bend in bracket will be required. Use the bolts to hold the bracket and make your bends. Don't go HAM bending, small adjustment until you get there.
