It does stop one from sucking, I recommend it.
It’s your money worth, got it earlier today and my baby hasn’t suck her thumb all day, she is quite upset about it but in as much she won’t suck her thumb, it will take a while but it’s doing it job by stopping her from sucking her thumb.I had to get a second one, it’s working but my child is too smart and start sucking on the other hand and so I got another to put in both hands, she seems to be getting used to not sucking and her thumb is healing since she has stopped sucking it.I recommend it 100%

Great idea, but it is badly made
My baby simply pulls the Velcro strap which is very weak. Unless your child is below 3-6 months, don't even bother buying this. Unfortunately I have run out of the refund period.I might have to rebuild it myself. Comeon these things aren't cheap either.
