Never ended up working. Bought far ahead of a European trip, to carry the heavy thing all the way there and find out it doesn't work. Broke my coffee machine because the box did nothing. Probably just got a faulty one, but I bought it too far in advance to return. DO NOT BUY if you want a guarantee it will work, because I'll tell you its not worth the 10 pounds it weighs.

I bought this for the transformer inside it so I could use my 120V generator to charge my 240V split phase battery based solar power system. The way it is wired from the factory only allows step-up, not split phase and step up.It works Great! High quality parts, good construction.
